Born on November 23, 1954 in the town of Nexikan, Magadan Region, extreme northeast of Russia. In 1972 he graduated from the Novosibirsk School of Physics and Mathematics, and in 1977 – from the Faculty of Physics of Novosibirsk State University. Then he worked in Voevodsky Institute of Chemical Kinetics and Combustion (1977 till now, senior researcher), Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics (2006 till now, senior engineer)and Novosibirsk State University(2001 till now, senior lecturer). In 1989 defended his thesis in chemical physics “Investigation of flame structure of nitramines by molecular beam mass spectrometry”. Have published about 62 jornal articles in chemical physics, biology and geology
